SVP, Corporate Development and Operations
As Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Operations, Neil Swami is responsible for all business functions at Psivant, including business development, fundraising, finance, legal and operations. Neil brings a range of company building, investing, business development and investment banking experience to Psivant.
Prior to joining Psivant, Neil held a company building role at EQRx, where he helped raise private and public capital, build the early- and late-stage pipeline, forge unique partnerships with payers and led investor relations after the company went public. Neil was also a life science investor at both Catalyst Health Ventures and MVM Partners and completed a variety of business development projects while at Locust Walk Partners. Neil received his scientific training under Dr. Joachim Frank, receipient of the 2017 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, by applying three-dimensional cryo-electron microscopy techniques to understand the structure and function of ribosomes.
Neil earned a master of business administration degree in the Health Care Management program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor of arts degree in the history of science from Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey.
